Dr Hema Wadhwa is an engineering leader and data analytics strategist with over 18 years’ experience transforming asset-intensive industries through technologies to optimize design and operations. Currently Associate Director, Asset Management and Performance, Digital & Data Analytics at Aurecon, she partners with energy and utilities clients to digital and data driven solutions that improve safety, sustainability, and performance. She previously led remote operations for renewable power assets nationwide, reducing downtime and accelerating decarbonisation. She has won multiple awards including induction into WA women’s hall of Fame in STEM category, WiTWA [+20] tech award, Chief Executive women scholarship in STEM, and she is also selected as the current Superstar of STEM by STA. A PhD graduate of The University of Western Australia, Hema is passionate about building inclusive STEM capability and mentoring the next generation of women leaders.
