Dr Rebecca Casson

Dr. Casson has extensive experience in the building and construction sector, working with government, industry, and the profit-for-purpose sector. She serves as Chairperson of the Victorian Government’s Building Industry Consultative Council, is an independent Director of Infrastructure Victoria, and is a member of the Municipal Association of Victoria’s Connected Places Advisory Panel.
Dr. Casson is an author, academic, and experienced non-executive director. Her previous roles include President of Incolink, Chairperson of the Sick Pay Guarantee Ministerial Advisory Committee, CEO of Master Builders Victoria, and CEO of the Committee for Geelong.
Throughout her career, Dr. Casson has held various board, executive, and advisory positions in Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the USA. She contributes to strategic relationships, government affairs, corporate governance, strategy, innovation, risk management, diversity, equity, inclusion, compliance, industrial relations, major projects, international engagement, economic development, inward investment, trade relations, education, and skills. Her induction into the Victorian Honour Roll of Women recognises her skills as a senior leader capable of operating in complex geopolitical environments with diverse stakeholders.
Dr. Casson holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Written Communication and a Master's degree in Politics and Government.
