Dr Morley Muse is a Chemical, Environmental, and Renewable Energy Engineer with expertise in waste-to-energy, wastewater treatment, renewable hydrogen, biofuels, and energy transition. She has held leadership roles across academia, industry, and government advisory.
She serves as Co-Chair of Science & Technology Australia’s EDI Executive Committee, a member of the RISE Expert Panel with DCA, SSI, and CEW, and an adviser to Jemena Energy’s Reference Group. A past Elevate Advisory Group member, Dr Muse has championed women in STEM through mentoring, advocacy, and policy influence.
As co-founder of iSTEM, she fosters employment pathways for women in STEM, with iSTEM Co. and DEIR.AI receiving national recognition for their impact. Her contributions have earned multiple accolades, including the 2024 Victorian Multicultural Honour Roll, 2024 AusMumpreneur Awards bronze winner, 2023 Recalibrate Gender Equity Awards finalist, and 2022 Women's Agenda STEM winner.
A sought-after speaker, Dr Muse has presented at Parliament Victoria, Engineers Australia, DCA, Telstra, and major industry conferences. Her work has been featured by Women’s Agenda, Engineers Australia, Careers with STEM, and the Australian Academy of Science, among others.
