Kathryn Laurentis is a chemical engineer and mathematician with more than 25 years’ experience across the energy and resources sector, spanning technical, regulatory, and strategic roles in industry, government engagement, and consulting.

Alongside her industry role, Kathryn pursues research with the University of Melbourne, bringing to light the achievements of Australia’s early women engineers and establishing role models for future generations. A Fellow of Engineers Australia, she serves as Chief Judge for Engineers Australia’s Excellence Awards WA, and co-chairs Woodside’s STEM group, leading initiatives that connect students and communities. Deeply committed to inclusivity, Kathryn is passionate about broadening participation in engineering and ensuring the profession fosters opportunities for all.
