Dr Sara Webb is an award-winning astrophysicist, space scientist, and science communicator based at Swinburne University of Technology. She leads student-designed experiments sent to the International Space Station, including plant and fungal growth studies in microgravity, and works at the intersection of space, AI, and education.

A passionate advocate for diversity and access to stem education and now designs programs that empower students, particularly young women, to see themselves as scientists and space explorers. She is also the author of multiple books including, The Little Book of Cosmic Catastrophes (That Could End the World) and a sought-after international speaker known for making complex science human, inclusive, and joyful.
