Cheryl Maley is Chief Executive Officer of Starpharma, an Australian biotechnology company advancing dendrimer based therapies for patients with unmet needs, including cancer. With 25+ years in pharma and 20 in leadership across Novartis and AbbVie, she has led innovation, commercial strategy, and growth in Australia, Asia, and global markets.

At Novartis, Cheryl served as Country Head and President of Novartis Philippines and as General Manager, Oncology for Australia and New Zealand, where she oversaw the launch of multiple products in oncology, neurology, cardiovascular and immunology.

A champion of equity in STEMM, she builds diverse teams, embeds inclusion into strategy, and expands sponsorship and visibility pathways for women. Cheryl is committed to investing in skills, mentoring, and early career opportunities to transform leadership and talent pathways across the STEMM ecosystem.
